Chapter 1 - Serena

There they were. The 4 of them all dancing like the slags they were. Alana looked at me and laughed with Alexis and that was the final straw. I walked over to Jason. “Oi, do me a favour” I said to him. “What?” he replied. I handed him a small bag containing a small but very effective tablet. “Drop that in that slags drink and do what you like with her” I said. “Why?” he asked. “We all know you love pussy Jason, just shut up and go do it” I said to him. He did as he was told. The other 3 skets had gone to the toilet when the drug finally kicked in. I hated Mia the most, like I didn’t know her little secret. I’d always been so close to exposing her, but was waiting for the right moment. Alana was stood outside the toilet door and I watched as my plan came together. Jason went over and talked to her before leading her outside. I went outside and hid in the dark. She’d fallen for the bait; I knew she was the easy one. I mean if she wasn’t easy, she wouldn’t be sexing up Jason in an alleyway now would she? Drugged up or not, you know what you’re doing when you’re under the influence. Alana’s phone started to ring. She answered it.

Chapter 2 – Scarlett

“You sure you don’t want a drink?” Mia asked me. I shook my head. “Wow, what is this? Turning over a new leaf?” she asked. “What?” I replied. “You don’t smoke anymore, you don’t drink....you used to give Pete Doherty a run for his money, and you used to get called Petera Doherty for Christ sake!” Mia said. I just smiled. She can talk, before tonight, she hadn’t been out in months, infact this was the first time I’d seen her in about 6/7 months not including the time she blanked me when I knew she saw me. She was always inside and when I called her house phone, she was always either out or busy, so her Mum said. However, I didn’t wanna tell them all yet, I wanted to but I didn’t know how they’d react and what I was even going to do about my little situation yet. I didn’t even know who the father of my unborn child was. Whether it was my long term boyfriend or if it was in fact it was one of my string of one-night stands. “After a while you do get bored” I lied. Mia gave me her confused face. “Where are you?” I heard Alexis shout into her phone. “Why are you outside? And with what guy?” she asked. She looked at me and Mia. I could tell from then that the baby of the group, Alana, was in trouble and needed her girls.

Chapter 3 – Mia

I stormed out of the club and went looking for Alana, I couldn’t find her so decided to ring her phone. I heard her ring tone and followed the ringing. There she was, a guy on top of her in the alleyway. Rage started to bubble up in my veins. The other two had followed me outside and were stood behind me. I pulled the guy off of Alana and I realised then that it was Jason, a rival crew member from different parts as us. From Serena’s parts in fact. He was all up in my face asking me what the hell I thought I was doing, which if you ask me was a rhetorical question. “WHAT?! So you think it’s cool to prey on young women do you?” I asked him. “I like a girl when she’s mad still” he said. “Shut your mouth” I said to him. Alexis and Scarlett had by this point flagged a taxi down and gotten Alana into it with them. “COME ON!” Alexis shouted. “I’m gonna teach you a lesson” Jason said. “Not if I teach you one first” I said grabbing a bottle from the ground and smashing it against his head. “ARGH YOU FUCKING BITCH!” he said running for me. I could run real fast in heels so it wasn’t hard for me to jump in the back of the taxi with the rest of my lot. We went back to Alexis’ and stayed there until it got light seeing as Lexy’s parents were away on a business trip so Lexy had the house to herself and we’d seen it as a perfect opportunity to go out. However, now it didn’t seem much like a very good idea. I looked across Lexy’s room. Lexy was trying to sober up Alana by feeding her bread, she was also holding back her hair whilst she was sick. I then looked at Scarlett, she was just sat in the corner of the room like a naughty school girl. She didn’t look right, something was wrong.

Chapter 4 – Alana

I just sat there trying to take it all in. I began to cry as Alexis told me gently about what happened and how Mia had saved me from his evil grasp. Scarlett and Mia were still asleep but Alexis hadn’t slept as she was too scared in case what I’d taken had done something to me permanently. I began to cry meaning the other 2 woke up as Alexis held me in her arms. Mia got up and knelt in front of me, wiping my tears with Scarlett sitting on the side Alexis wasn’t stroking my hair. I just sat there crying, letting it all out. I’d finally stopped enough to get my stuff together and head on home. We arranged to meet up again later once everybody had chance to freshen up. I’d just got through the door when my 6 year old brother Armani came running up to me. He hugged me. “I love you sissy” he said to me. I smiled at him. I then went into the living room to find Mum sat on the sofa. “How was the sleep over sweetheart?” she asked me. “Okay thanks” I lied. We all told our parents that we’d slept over at Alexis’ apart from Alexis who said she was stopping at Mia’s. I went up to my room and closed my door. He’d taken my innocence away from me and I hated him. I then got a phone call. “Hello” I said reluctantly answering the private number. “Did you enjoy last night bitch?! You’re a sket, sexing in the alleyway” the person said. I’d notice this bitch’s voice anywhere. Serena was the one who set me up.

Chapter 5 – Alexis

I’d just got out the shower so I put on my dress and tights. After that I did my hair and makeup. 2 hours had passed since I started getting ready but a girl can’t rush perfection. I went downstairs and fed my pet Chihuahua, Pixie, before getting some breakfast myself. My phone started to ring. I answered it and it was my long term boyfriend, Nathan, on the other end of the line. I hadn't slept so I was feeling a bit down and cranky. He sensed this and decided to come and see me. The doorbell rang and I went to get it. He'd brought me a massive bunch of flowers and a box of chocolates to cheer me up. He then went to the shop for me. He'd left his phone and it began to ring. I answered it. "Is Nathan there please?" A female voice asked me. "No, who's this?" I asked. "Never mind, wait is this Alexis?" The female said. "Yeah?" I said. I recognised her voice. It was Serena. "Why you ringing up my mans phone for Serena?!" I asked her. "His tings is good init, next time you suck him off, tell me how I taste babe" she said sounding cocky. I screamed. I shouted abuse down the phone. She locked off. Nathan had saved Serena's number in his phone under "Sis" so I wouldn't get suspicious. I looked through his texts, it'd been going on for months. I saw a text sent early this morning. "Your tings is good" it read. That's why he'd brought me flowers, because he'd felt guilty. He came back and I went into a mad rage, I threw the flowers at him and the chocolates. I then threw his phone at his head along with the picture of me and him. He confessed to it all. "GET OUT!" I shouted. He did as he was told, I slid down the side of my stairs into a fit of tears. I decided to ring Scarlett. Her phone was busy. I was alone. Just me and my broken heart.

Chapter 6 - Scarlett

I listened as Mia cried down the phone. She never cried. Not even when she got stabbed a few years back. She didn't even realize she'd been stabbed until she had finished mashing up the culprit. I got myself comfy on my bed and listened to my best friend cry as she told me how her parents hadn't been getting on very well these last few days. "Scarlett what am I gonna do?! It's not just me who’s noticed it, the Mitchell Bruvvahs and Mollie have clocked on too" she said. The "Mitchell Bruvvahs" were Mia's older brothers, Marco and Matthew. She called them this because they were a bit like the Mitchell Brothers. They'd protect their little sisters until they were either sent to prison or killed. I calmed her down enough for her to finish getting ready. I then arranged to meet her later on and see what the rest of them were doing. "Scarlett, you are okay aren't you?" Mia asked me. I looked down at my stomach. Mia had enough to deal with so didn't really need to be worrying about me aswell. "Yeah babe, I'm fine" I lied. "Okay" I remember her saying. I walked up to meet her after I'd gotten ready. I put my iPod in my ears and walked along the roads to the park. "Just left mine" Mia texted me. Typical. Typical Mia. She was late for everything. I decided to pop into the shop on my way and brought myself a bottle of ribena and a packet of skittles. I was walking out the shop just as my brother was walking in the shop. "Yes sis" he said. "Aup" I said to him distant. He asked me what was wrong and I just lied and said I was fine. If I told him that his 17 year old sister was pregnant by either her boyfriend or one of the men I'd slept with then he'd go mad. And I couldn't be dealing with that, not now anyway.

Chapter 7 - Mia

I was walking up the road and saw two girls fighting on the pavement. As I got closer I saw it was Alana fighting Serena. I ran up and dragged Serena's hair back. "What, bitch, what?!" Serena screamed. Alana then told me Serena was the one responsible for last night and what happened to her. That set me off. All the anger I was feeling went into the punches I was throwing at Serena. I kicked her then tag-teamed with Alana. I pinned Serena down and told Alana to mash her up and that she did. Scarlett came running up to us all. She stood there just screaming at us to stop. "Yeah listen to that slag!" Serena said. I looked at Scarlett. She didn't even react. Normally, she'd have knocked a bitch out for that. Me and Alana finished Serena off before walking away leaving her on the pavement. We went and sat on the park whilst I rolled a spliff on the bench. I was just using one of the pointy bits on my "M" necklace to prod it into place. I sparked it up. Scarlett got up and moved onto the other bench across from the one we were sat on. "My Mum will smell it on me" she said. "Never bothered you before" Alana quite rightfully said. I passed the spliff to Alana who choked up on it like she always did. She then passed it onto Scarlett who didn't even touch it. I started to piece things together. Like how at college she was sick all over the floor, how she didn't drink anything last night, how she never backed me and Alana in the fight and how she just refused a few bun on the spliff. I knew something was wrong with her. My best friend of near enough 14 years was pregnant and didn't even tell me.

Chapter 8 - Alana

Mia was just staring at Scarlett for ages. "What?" Scarlett asks. "Hormones kicking in already are they?!" Mia said. Scarlett looked at Mia and began to cry. Mia went over and hugged her. It took a while to sink in but I think I got it. Scarlett was pregnant. She confessed how she found out a couple weeks back but didn't know who the Dad was and what she was gonna do. She then said she was thinking about keeping him or her. "Well, she could be a little rudegirl and the boy could be a little rudeboy!" Mia said. Scarlett laughed. "When did you yanoe....with each boy" Mia said. "Like a week apart" she said. "How far gone are you?" Mia asked. "7 weeks" Scarlett replied. "Well it can't be the first boy’s, it’s complicated and messy but I do listen in science" Mia said. Scarlett began to cry. "What's up babe?" I asked. "I need to ring Jerome..." She said. "Why?" Mia asked. "Tell him to meet me so I can tell him he's gonna be a Daddy" she said. "Don't you want this baby?" Mia asked. "I'm crying because I'm happy" Scarlett confessed. "Gonna have to take care of her now aren't we!" Mia said, looking at me. I nodded and smiled. We decided to go and see Alexis. Mia rang her before we got to her house and she wasn't even ready. "What's happened babe?......WHAT?!...WHY?!" Mia shouted down the phone.

Chapter 9 - Alexis

I opened the door and Scarlett held me as I wept. We all grouped up in my bedroom. They all listened as I told them about what had happened between me and Nathan earlier this morning. I broke down crying in some parts. Like how it’d been going on for near enough 6 months and who he’d been cheating on me with. “I’ll smash her face in” Scarlett shouted. “Calm down!” Mia retaliated. “No! She’s fucking about now Mia, and you know it!” Scarlett shouted back getting up and pacing the room. “You need to keep yourself calm!” Mia said to Scarlett. I didn’t understand why Mia just didn’t let Scarlett go and knock 7 shades out of Serena when she had no problem with it before. Alana was just sat there texting someone. I got a text. Alana was staring at me. She’d done the classic talk-text routine. “Scarlett’s pregnant” Alana text me. My face dropped. Scarlett began to cry which is something she did in anger. Mia held her as she wept. Scarlett then told me herself she was expecting. I acted all surprised so I didn’t get Alana into any trouble. After Scarlett had calmed down, she suggested we go to hers. I re-did my makeup, grabbed my cardigan and my handbag and off we went to Scarlett’s. We spoke about the first time we all met. The first day at primary school when a boy tried pulling on my pigtails and Scarlett told him to stop. When he refused she then went and got Mia who was playing with Alana. Mia then came over and “accidently” punched him. Mia’s always been the one who looks after all of us. We’d never even said thank you, so we all went over and hugged her. “GET OFF ME! YOU LOT WEIGH A TON” she joked. We all got off her and reminisced some more good times, like the time we got given those fake babies, and Scarlett ended up “killing” hers by wrapping it in her duvet and stuffing it in her washing machine. “Don’t do that with your real one you know Scarlett!” I joked. “Very funny Lexy!” she replied. She sat there all serious faced and none of us even realized for another 10 minutes. “What’s up babe?” Mia asked her. “There’s something I gotta do, even if he said he’s ill, I need to tell Jerome” she said putting her body warmer on over her long sleeved top.

Chapter 10 – Jerome

“I’ll come over if you want me to b xxx” the text read. “Yeah u do dat. I’ll b waitin x” I replied. “Be over in 10 minutes” she replied. I smiled to myself. I felt bad but Scarlett had been off with me for the past few weeks and wasn’t really giving me any loving so I looked elsewhere. I opened the door and there she stood. She was my mistress otherwise known as Miss Serena Evans. I pulled her indoors and she kissed me passionately as we went upstairs to have a little bit of fun. I got her upstairs and we got down to business. She was screaming my name all the way at the top of her soprano whilst a little bit of Trey Songz was playing in the background. “I bet the neighbours know my name, the way your screaming, scratching, yelling!.........JEROME!...JEROME!” I sung to her. She laughed and started screaming my name. The door knocked. “They’ll go away” Serena said. Whoever it was was very persistent as they carried on banging at my door. I went downstairs, Serena following me. I looked out the window and there stood my girlfriend, Scarlett. I couldn’t help but look shocked and scared. I hurried Serena off through the back door. I hoped Scarlett didn’t see but something was telling me she had seen. For the first time ever, I would lie to my girlfriend to save our relationship.

Chapter 11 – Scarlett

I saw Jerome come to his window with a shocked expression on his face. I then saw an outline of a girl being pushed out the back door. I wouldn’t have minded as much if she wasn’t half naked. I was still on the phone, so Mia heard me screaming at Jerome. “There’s nobody there” he said. I didn’t care I know what I’d seen, I stormed in his house and went for the back door. There was a girl trying to climb over the back fence, half dressed too I might add. Something in me snapped. I ran up to her and dragged her off the fence. I was even more irate when I realized who it was. Serena couldn’t keep her hands off my man and now she was gonna pay. I jumped on top of her and punched her, I then kicked her a few times. “FUCK YOU BITCH!” she screeched. I then kicked her even harder for getting rude. She somehow got on top of me and started punching me before running off into the front garden. I grabbed her leg and got on her back, smashing her head into the mud numerous times. Jerome then got hold of me and dragged me off of Serena and threw me to the floor away from her, before making sure she was okay. I began to cry. Not because he’d hurt me, but because he’d gone to see if she was okay, rather than his own girlfriend who little did he know was carrying his baby. Serena got up and ran towards me I dragged myself up and she punched me in my stomach. That set me off and I pounced back on her, kicking her and doing whatever else I could to hurt her. Someone dragged her away from me. I was surprised to see my best friend now attacking her, Alexis and Alana behind her.

Chapter 12 – Mia

Was I dreaming or did this bitch just hit my best friend in her stomach? I did this bitch over and I aimed to do so until I felt better. I punched her a few times before kicking her as hard as I could. “STOP IT I’M SORRY!” Serena shouted. “YEAH! YOU WILL BE FUCKING SORRY IF SHE LOSES HER BABY!” I shouted without thinking. Serena looked up at me with a look I’ve never seen her give before. She looked both sorry and scared. “I DIDN’T KNOW!” Serena said. I didn’t care; she still fucked Scarlett’s man and could have harmed their baby. Serena got up and I head butted her so hard I nearly passed out. “You’re pregnant?” Jerome said looking at Scarlett. Scarlett nodded. “I’m sorry” Jerome said to Scarlett. “Yeah, you are” Scarlett said before turning around looking at me. She looked like she was going to cry, but obviously was just holding it down. I took her by the hand and led her back to hers. As soon as we got to the bottom of Jerome’s road and round the corner, she began to cry hysterically. I could do nothing more but hold my best friend as she wept. “I’m scared” she said. “Why are you scared babe?” I asked her. “I can’t do this alone” she stuttered through the tears. “Who said you was alone? You forgetting about us already?” Alexis asked. “It’s not your problem, it’s mine!” Scarlett said. “No, you’re our girl and we love you, so it is our problem” Alana said smiling. “I do love you 3” she said hugging us all. “We love you too” I said to her.

Chapter 13 – Alana

“We should have a burn book....” I said whilst watching Mean Girls with my 3 best friends. “Do you like your muffin buttered?” Alexis said at the same time the guy on Mean Girls did. We all laughed at how she knew the film word for word. “What’s your wig made out of Janice?...” I started. “YOUR MOMS CHEST HAIR!” Scarlett shouted. We all laughed. I loved being able to be myself around my 3 best girls. “I’m hungry...” I said. “Well, you know where my fridge is don’t you?” Scarlett said. “Yeah...” I continued. I went downstairs and got my munch. The door swung open, Scarlett’s older brother, Shomari stood there. “WHERE’S MY FUCKING SISTER?!” he shouted. I was guessing he now knew Scarlett was pregnant and what went down. “She’s not here, she’s gone to the shop” I lied. “You’re such a bad liar” he shouted at me. “No, seriously she’s gone to the shop, why are you here anyway?” I said. “I KNOW! I KNOW ALL ABOUT HER AND SERENA! AND HOW SHE’S HAVING A BABY AT 17!” he shouted at me. “I swear she’s not here” I said to him. He stormed upstairs. I ran up after him. Alexis and Mia sat there watching Mean Girls. “See, told you, she’s gone to the shop” I said. I wondered where Scarlett was hiding. Shomari went over and sat on Scarlett’s bed and for the 1^st time ever, he began to cry. “I’ve messed up man! If I was there for her more, she wouldn’t be in this mess!” he said.

Chapter 14 – Alexis

We all sat down and listened as Shomari confessed how he’d been a bad big brother to Scarlett. “I’ve never really been here for her, have I? I can’t even tell you when her birthday is without Mum and Dad reminding me, I can’t tell you her favourite colour or what she likes on her toast, just little things like that” he said. It was powerful seeing him cry, he was like the General for our sides and everybody knew Scarlett as the “General’s Little Sister” up until she got a gob on her and told people she’d head butt them if they carried on calling her that. “If I’d have been here for her more, taken her out for meals just us two, maybe she wouldn’t have gotten herself in this mess” he said. Mia got up and hugged him. “She’ll be okay, she always is” Mia said. “She won’t be though, Mum and Dad are going to go mad at her, Dad especially” Shomari said. “You protect your little sis then” I said smiling at him. “You’re right you know” He said wiping away his tears. I never understood why it was so powerful when a boy cried, but the way he’d just cried showed he really did care about Scarlett and loved her loads. “You say she’s gone to the shop then right?” Shomari said. He knew we were lying. “Yeah” I said to Shomari. Alana looked at Mia who then signalled her that Scarlett was hiding in her wardrobe, which was more like a walk in Narnia. Scarlett emerged from her hiding place. Mascara runny eyes from her tears.

Chapter 15 – Scarlett

I ran up to my big brother and hugged him. “I love you” I said to him. “I love you too sis” he replied. After another 5 minutes he left, leaving me and my girls to it. I decided to go sort myself out in my bathroom as my face was a mess. I’d just finished my make up when I felt a sharp pain in my stomach. I just thought it was normal, until it happened again. I began to cry. I screamed and my 3 best friends appeared at my bathroom door. “What’s up Scarlett?” Mia said dropping to my side. “IT HURTS! I’M GONNA KILL THAT FUCKING BITCH!” I screamed. Alana rang an ambulance whilst Alexis tried to get hold of Shomari. The ambulance came and took me to hospital. Mia came in the ambulance with me, with Alana and Alexis going with Shomari in his car. Mia was holding it down and keeping me calm. “I know it’s hard Scarlett, but calm down” Mia said to me. “How would YOU know?!” I snapped back. “Because I know how you’re feeling right now” she said to me. “HOW WOULD YOU KNOW HAVE YOU EVER BEEN SO SCARED TO LOSE SOMETHING SO PRECIOUS?!” I shouted at her. “Yes, yes I do actually” she confessed breaking down into tears. “What happened?” I asked my best friend. “Just concentrate on you for now, I’ll tell you when you’re better, I promise” Mia replied wiping away her tears. We arrived at the hospital and they took me away to examine me, Shomari came in the room with me as I really didn’t want Mia to have to go through it all again. Mia, Alexis and Alana all stayed in the waiting room.

Chapter 16 – Mia

I sat there and cried my heart out for my son. The one I never even got to hold or meet. I know he wouldn’t want his Mummy to cry but I couldn’t help it. None of my best friends even knew about what had happened and why I went into hiding for 6 months. I wanted to tell them but I was afraid if it got out, then people who were after me would see this as their opportunity to come after me. Alana and Alexis looked so worried so I told them the story about the day I found out I was pregnant up until I’d lost my little boy. “Remember the day when I let Alana get beat up by those girls, I’d found out earlier, I really didn’t want to let them beat you up Alana but I couldn’t risk losing my baby by fighting, I was about to jump in but then Serena and Alexis turned up and saved you” I said looking at Alana. “It’s okay now you’ve explained babe” Alana said. “Then I went into hiding once I started showing, my Mum and Dad found out, they promised not to tell anyone but then Marco and Matthew found out and told me to keep it on the down low, not even tell you 3, I wanted to, but then they said people would just try attack me, get me back for my wrongs, now I was most vulnerable” I said breaking down. “Don’t tell us if it’s gonna upset you baby girl” Alexis said hugging me. “No, I want to...” I carried on. “Then there was the time I saw Scarlett, and I pretended like I didn’t see her, she didn’t see my bump, as she only seen me for 2 seconds, that’s why I turned away and walked off” I said. “She was cussing for ages about that” Alexis said. “Then the night I lost him, I was walking back from my Grandmas, I got jumped by about 2 girls....”leave it! She’s pregnant” one of them said, then the other one said “shut up, she deserves it” and took out a knife, went straight for my stomach” I said breaking down in tears. “They took me to hospital and took me for an operation, they saved my life, but killed my little boy, they never caught who did it, I’ll always have a scar to remind me though” I said hysterically before lifting up my top and showing them the 8 inch scar down the side of my stomach.

Chapter 17 – Alana

I held Mia as she wept. There was so much we didn’t understand but now did. She never even calmed down. She just sat there and wept. Scarlett’s Mum and Dad came to the hospital. Nobody would tell us anything. Finally a doctor came in to talk to Scarlett’s Mum and Dad. “YOU WHAT?!” I heard her Mum shout. Shomari went out to see what was going on, he came then emerged 2 minutes later. “They’re okay, they’re both okay!” he said coming back. “Mum and Dad are a bit pissed off though, so I’d leave it for a bit” Shomari said. I kept my arm around Mia and Alexis put her arm around all of us. Mia finally calmed down after an hour of solid crying. “I’m sorry for not telling you guys sooner, it just felt better if I kept it to myself, it didn’t hurt as much” Mia confessed. Mia always seemed like my big sister and it hurt to see her cry. It was also powerful because I’d never seen her cry before. “Your little boy wouldn’t want you to cry babe” I said to Mia. “I know babe, I know” Mia said. “You know, you’re like my big sister Mia, I love you so much” I said. She looked at me and her beautiful smile appeared. She looked like a kid when she smiled due to her dimples. “Ay! Laydee Dimples is back!” Alexis jokingly said. “Shut up Miszy DOT Lexy” Mia said laughing. I laughed. “What you laughing at? Larnziie?! WITH THE TWO I’S!” Alexis said. I laughed and we all laughed at how foolish our nicknames were. “REMEMBER THEM JACKETS WE GOT!” Mia said. Me and Alexis nodded like retards. Scarlett’s Mum and Dad came back into the waiting room where we were all sat. “Mia, thank you darling, thank you all, God knows what would have happened to Scarlett if you 3 weren’t there!” she said smiling at us all. She let us go and see Scarlett whilst she went with Scarlett’s Dad back to theirs to get Scarlett some things.

Chapter 18 – Alexis

We walked into the room where our best friend lay. Shomari was talking to her. “Come and sit down then!” he said to us all. We sat down on the chairs in the room and Shomari looked at us. “Don’t NONE of you tell any man about me being soppy and crying you know!” he joked. “We won’t badman!” I said smiling. He left us alone. Mia then dragged up her passed once more, beginning to cry again. Scarlett carefully got out her bed and hugged her tightly. “I love you Mia! You should have told me, but I understand” Scarlett said. “We’ll get them back one day babe, I promise you, if Karma doesn’t sooner!” Alana said. “I want my revenge, I owe my son that much! I never even got to hold him, he still lives on though in my heart” Mia said pulling a locket from underneath her top. “We got him cremated, then my brothers brought me this locket, I put some of his ashes in here” Mia confessed. “And the rest?” I asked. “I’m still deciding where to put them, they’re at home, in an urn in my bedroom, and it’s the shape of a teddy bear” Mia continued. “I’m so sorry babe” Scarlett said. “It’s okay, pain eases up as time goes on, it’s only been 2 months since it happened, but I know he wouldn’t want his Mummy to be upset” Mia said. She was so strong. The mood was a bit down. “So, you gonna stop your fighting now Miszy Scar-Scar” Mia said laughing. Scarlett looked puzzled as to why she was calling her by her old nickname. “I won’t be fighting, not anymore, not until my little ones safe anyway” Scarlett said.

Chapter 19 – Scarlett

I was just lying on my bed when my phone began to ring, I looked at it. “What the fuck do you want?” I asked Jerome. He didn’t ring me when I nearly lost our baby, and that was nearly 2 months ago, so I had no idea as to why he was ringing me now. “Forgiveness?” he said. He tried feeding me a whole bunch of lies but I wasn’t buying any of it. “Oh shut up, if you really loved me then you wouldn’t go round fucking other bitches!” I said to him. “I’m sorry Scarlett and I love you” he said. I laughed. “Yeah, and the next lie?” I asked. I wanted to slap him so hard but deep down, I still loved him. “I hate you” I said to him. It was a lie but maybe if he thought I hated him, he would have left me alone. “You don’t mean that!” he said. “Believe you me, I do” I said to him. “Alright, well I’m here if you ever need me okay, for you and our baby” he said. He put the phone down and I began to cry hysterically. I wanted him in our lives but he was a liability and I had to do the right thing by my baby. I hated Serena with all my heart, she’d been the reason me and Jerome broke up, if there was no her in the first place then there would have been no reason for me and Jerome to break up and we could be the happy family I’d always wanted. I lay on my bed, all alone until my parents came back from doing the food shop. I rang Mia. “WHAT DO YOU WANT?!” she snapped down the phone. “Why are you crying Scarlett?! Your life’s fine! GET OFF MY LINE MAN! SORT YOUR OWN FUCKING PROBLEMS OUT!” she shouted before putting the phone down. Why was she being like this? I asked myself.

Chapter 20 – Mia

I regretted doing that. I didn’t mean to shout at Scarlett but this is how angry my Dad made me. Mum sat on the sofa crying, Dad shouting at her to stop being so stupid. “DON’T YOU SHOUT AT HER MATE!” I shouted at him. “DO NOT TELL ME WHAT I CAN AND CAN NOT DO IN MY OWN HOUSE!” Dad shouted back at me. “I JUST DID! YOU’RE NOT GOING TO SHOUT AT MY MUM LIKE THAT! SHE’S CRYING HER EYES OUT! WHAT HAVE YOU DONE THIS TIME?!” I shouted at him. I looked at Mum. “He’s been cheating on me!” Mum said. “DAD ARE YOU DUMB?! YOU’VE GOT A WIFE AND KIDS AND YOU’RE FUCKING NEXT WOMEN?!” I shouted at Dad. “SHE’S LYING MIA!” Dad said. I looked at Mum and her tears were real. “I’VE SPOKEN TO HER ON THE PHONE! SHE RINGS THE PHONE! ASKING FOR YOU ALL THE TIME!” Mum shouted at Dad. He raised his hand to hit Mum. My 7 year old sister, Mollie appeared from out of no-where. “DON’T YOU HIT MY MUMMY!” she said running up to Dad and pushing him. It was such a big gesture from such a little person. “GET OUT!” I shouted at Dad. He did as he was told. I held Mum as she cried on me and Mollie. The phone began to ring and Mum went to answer it thinking it was one of my Aunties. “Hello....NOT YOU A FUCKING GAIN!” Mum shouted. I went over and grabbed the phone. “YOU’RE DEAD BITCH!” I shouted. “Just like your baby?” the person said. “WHO THE FUCK IS THIS?!” I shouted down the phone. The person laughed. “It was me, you’re too big for your fucking boots, and you shouldn’t be getting pregnant by MY MAN anyway” the person said. I’d gone to a party and had sex with a guy who I later found out was from different ends as me. He was Serena’s boyfriend. “WHAT?! IT WAS YOU?!” I shouted. “The bitch got it in one....tell your Mum I said Ciao...TO HER MARRIAGE!” Serena said before locking off the phone. I dashed the phone down and went into my room. Mum asked me what was wrong. “Mum, Dad hasn’t been cheating on you, he was telling the truth, I know for a fact he wasn’t cheating on you” I said. After Mum had left me alone, I went into Marco and Matthew’s room. I knew they had a gun in here somewhere and once I got hold of it, this bitch was dead. Tonight.

Chapter 21 – Alana

I sat on my bed thinking about how mad crazy life was when I heard my doorbell ring. Mum got it. “What’s up Mia sweetheart?” I heard Mum ask Mia. “Is Alana in please? I really need to speak to someone” I heard Mia say. By the time I’d appeared at the top of my stairs, Mum was hugging Mia as she wept into Mums hair. I walked down my stairs and took her hand before taking Mia up to my room. She told me everything about what had happened, how she found out that it was Serena who stabbed her and it was Serena who was pretending to be her Dads mistress. “Why is she doing it though?” I asked her. “I have no actual idea! But she’s gonna pay Alana!” Mia shouted. I got ready and off we went to Alexis’. She answered the door looking like she’d been crying. “What’s up?” Mia asked. “Me and Nathan would have been together a year today” she said sobbing. Mia held her. Alexis didn’t even realize Mia was crying until 5 minutes later, Mia told Alexis the same thing she told me breaking down. “WHAT?! Is she trippin’?!” Alexis shouted at the top of her voice. She grabbed her coat and we went to see Scarlett as we hadn’t seen her in about a week, she stopped coming out just in case the same thing that happened to Mia happened to her. I knocked on the door. “Don’t mention a thing to her, she doesn’t need to be stressed out over us, I’ll sort it” Mia said. Scarlett came to her parents’ bedroom window which overlooked the front door. “Hello?” she said. I popped my head round the corner so she could see it was us. “Hope you’re not with Mia” Scarlett said. “Why?” I asked. “She’s a bitch and I don’t care if she hears me calling her a bitch” Scarlett said. I looked at Mia. She began to cry, before running off. “WELL FUCKING DONE SCARLETT!” Alexis said before running after her.

Chapter 22 – Alexis

I ran as fast as I could, but Mia was one of the best cross country runners at school, so it was hard to catch up. Eventually she slowed down though and I was able to reach her. She began to cry like I’d never seen her cry before and I could do nothing more but hold her as she wept. “I didn’t mean to snap at Scarlett! My Dad gets me so angry” she said through the tears. “She’ll understand babe” I said to Mia. “No, she won’t, she holds grudges forever! You know this!” Mia rightfully said. I took her hand we went to the park. Mia sat staring at the little kids playing on the park. “I would have had my little boy round about now” she confessed. I held Mia as she wept a little more. My phone began to vibrate; I’d gotten a text off Alana. “Where are you? x” it read. “On the park with Mia, she’s just told me her little boy would have been born round about now :/ x” I replied. “Okay, we’ll be there in 5 minutes x” she replied. By “we” I was guessing she was with Scarlett. Mia began to cry again as she played with a locket, but it wasn’t a very loud cry, it was just her, crying to herself. Still I hugged her and held her tightly. Scarlett and Alana came walking up the path behind Mia. Scarlett tapped Mia on her shoulder and Mia turned round. “I’m sorry, I didn’t know” Scarlett said. “It’s okay, I shouldn’t have snapped at you in the first place” Mia replied. “You’d just found out about your Mum and Dad” Scarlett said. I then caught on that Alana hadn’t said a word about how it was Serena who stabbed Mia the night she lost her son. Scarlett took Mia’s hand and they walked in front of us back to Scarlett’s. When we got there, we went into Scarlett’s room and chilled for a bit. Then Alana got a phone call from her Mum, who said she had to come home to babysit whilst she went to work. “I’ll see you all later” Alana said getting up off of Scarlett’s floor she was previously laying down on. “I haven’t been out this house in days, come on girls, let’s move the party to Alana’s, then she won’t be alone all night” Scarlett suggested. We all agreed. We walked to Alana’s and all ended up leaving at about 11. Mia and Scarlett walked me home before Mia walked Scarlett home.

Chapter 23 – Scarlett

Mia hadn’t been able to look me in the eye all night. I wanted to know why. “It doesn’t matter, I don’t wanna stress you” Mia said. “No, tell me, you’re stressing me by me not knowing what’s going off” I said to Mia. “Promise me you won’t get mad” Mia said to me. “I’m not promising anything” I replied. “Scarlett!” Mia said sternly. “Fine, I promise” I said. “I found out who stabbed me” Mia said. “What on THAT night?!” I asked her. She nodded. “WHO?!” I shouted. “See, this is the reason I didn’t want to tell you” Mia said. “Tell me!” I shouted. “It was Serena, she rang my house phone earlier, she knows about how I got stabbed and lost my little boy, my would have been baby father was her boyfriend, I didn’t know he was in ties with her, I wouldn’t have gotten involved otherwise” Mia confessed. “We have to get her back!” I shouted. “Calm down and I already have a plan” Mia said to me. “What?” I asked her. She filled me in on the plan and we got to work, we knew Serena was one of those cocky hungry bitches. I knew Jerome’s Facebook details so I logged in as him and added her as a friend. I then arranged to meet her at 2am by the bridge. It wouldn’t be Jerome who met her though, it’d be me, Mia, Alana and Alexis wanting our answers and our revenge. Alexis’ parents were away again so I told Mum and Dad I was staying round hers. “Stay safe won’t you” Mum said kissing my cheek. “Don’t worry, I’ll take care of her” Mia said before linking arms with me and walking down the road to get Alana. Her Mum was back by now as it was gone 1am. We then walked to Alexis before getting changed into our all black outfits. We all had our hair in either a ponytail or French plaits as not to give our game away that we were actually girls. It came to 1:45am and we made our way to the bridge. There she was. The plan was for Mia to grab her, then Alexis and Alana hold her down. Mia didn’t want me being at risk of being hurt. The plan ran smoothly. “WHAT THE FUCK!” she shouted. “SHUT UP BITCH” I said punching her.

Chapter 24 – Mia

That punch Scarlett just gave must have hurt, but then again it was me who taught her to punch. “So, you’ve got some explaining to do have you?” Alexis said. I just stood there, looking at the girl who’d taken my son away from me forever. “I AIN’T EXPLAINING MYSELF FOR SHIT!” Serena shouted. I snapped. “YES YOU FUCKING WILL! YOU’LL EXPLAIN WHY YOU FELT THE NEED TO TAKE AWAY MY LITTLE BOY, HE WAS MINE, AND YOU TOOK HIM AWAY! EXPLAIN NOW YOU FUCKING STUPID BITCH!” I shouted at her. She laughed. I went mad at her. I started punching her, kicking her, smashing her head against the wall, basically anything to make me feel better. Serena finally got me off of her. “You fucked my man, no more need s to be fucking said! You wasn’t going to be having his youte, I don’t fucking think so!” she shouted. “Why, was you jealous or something?! Your man was moving to next girls because you couldn’t keep him happy! Enough said!” I shouted. “I don’t care, if I can’t have his baby, then nobody can” Serena said. “What’s that meant to mean?” I asked her. “I lost mine and his baby, about a year ago” she said. “SO WHY THE FUCK YOU GOING AROUND KILLING OTHER PEOPLES BABIES IF YOU KNOW HOW IT FEELS?!” Alana shouted. “BECAUSE I FUCKING CAN!” Serena shouted back. That set me off and I started attacking her again. “BECAUSE OF YOU, MY FAMILY’S FALLEN APART ALONG WITH MY FUCKING WORLD!” I shouted kicking her as hard as I could. “MIA CALM DOWN!” Scarlett shouted at me. “NO! SHE’S FUCKED MY WORLD UP!” I said. I pulled a gun from out of no-where. “GIVE ME ONE FUCKING REASON WHY I SHOULDN’T BLOW YOUR FUCKING HEAD OFF RIGHT NOW!” I shouted at her. “Because we all need to ask our questions” Scarlett said. “Fair do’s, you lot have 15 fucking minutes, this bitch is dying at 3, the same time I got told my baby had gone, coincidence that aye?” I shouted at them all.

Chapter 25 – Alexis

“Why was you fucking about with our boyfriends?” Scarlett asked. “They tings was good” Serena said cockily. “DON’T EVEN!” Scarlett shouted. “Why did you even start fucking around with us in the first place? What did we do SO wrong?” I asked her. “I’ve got my fucking reasons init, you 4 are like them mean girls, I’ve never had no-one, I’m in care for fuck sake, you lot had the good lives, but always looked at me funny, so I got sick of it, and decided I’d make your lives hell so maybe you’d feel how I felt half the fucking time!” Serena confessed. “What, you’re in care?” Mia asked. “Yes, I am AND FUCKING WHAT?!” Serena said. I knew she was lying. “So why’s your Mum got pictures of you on her Facebook then? Blatantly lies, you’re even listed as her daughter” I said. “How’d you know that?” Serena asked. “I just know, stop fucking lying...you was basically being a slag wasn’t you?” I said. “WHO YOU CALLING A SLAG?!” Serena shouted. “YOU BITCH!” I said swinging for her. Mia, Alana and Scarlett were jaw dropped. They didn’t know I could punch like that, and to be quite honest, neither did I. “What about Alana? What did she do wrong?” I asked. “I know if I hurt her, I’d get to all of you, so that I did, plus she was the easy target” Serena said. “EASY TARGET?! Do you actually know what you’ve done to me?!” Alana shouted. “Yeah, I got you your first fucking, calm down bitch” Serena said sat there all cocky. Alana pulled up her sleeves. I’d noticed she’d been wearing long sleeved tops just recently. “YOU SEE THESE?! LOOK YOU FUCKING BITCH! THIS IS WHAT YOU DID TO ME!” Alana shouted showing her the cuts on her arm. “And what?” Serena shouted. “YOU SEE THE TWO NEAREST MY WRIST?! IF MY MUM DIDN’T FIND ME BLEEDING TO DEATH IN MY BED I WOULDN’T FUCKING BE HERE!” Alana screeched. “You tried to kill yourself?” I asked Alana. She nodded. “BECAUSE OF HER! I HAVE NIGHTMARES ABOUT HIM! HOW HE DID MUCH MORE! HOW HE KILLS ME!” Alana shouted. “I wanted them to stop” she said calming down.

Chapter 26 – Alana

I can’t believe this bitch was laughing. She made me mad and little did she know I now had the gun Mia had a few minutes ago. I’d taken it when it fell out her jogging bottoms when she kicked Serena. “Stop fucking laughing at me” I shouted. “What you gonna do?” Serena asked. “Go crying to one of your girls? Like you always do? Hoping one of them will come and save you? That Nicki Minaj tune should be your theme song “this time won’t you save me? Everytime won’t you save me?!” you’re a sad excuse for a girl, no wonder your Dad left your Mum, who’d want a daughter like you?” Serena said. I’d found out a few months ago, that my Dad had died in a car crash when I was little, Mum didn’t know what to do, so she just said that he’d left her, when in reality he’d died when I was 10 and Armani was still a baby. “HE FUCKING DIED!” I shouted. “Aww, poor you, even better, bet he killed himself” Serena said laughing. I pulled the gun from out of my pocket. “WHAT THE FUCK?! ALANA GIVE ME THAT BACK!” Mia shouted at me. “No, she’s hurt us all, tell me something Serena, do you believe in Karma?” I asked Serena. “KARMA’S A DICKHEAD TING!” she shouted. “Well, and eye for an eye, a life for a life, you took away Mia’s sons life, you nearly took away Scarlett’s baby’s life, and mine with your twisted sick ways” I said to her. “What? You gonna shoot me? You wouldn’t fucking dare!” Serena said. “Your actions are your only true belongings. You cannot escape the consequences of your actions. Your actions are the ground upon which you stand!” I shouted at Serena. I pulled the trigger without a second thought. She just lay there, dead. Then I realized something quite special, revenge was always best served cold, with a dash of death and a sprinkle of adrenaline.
